Dust collectors roll on the shelves like relics of the past, like remnants of paths we could have taken and didn't take, paths we're afraid to forget, that we're afraid to leave. Anna could talk about that. She has quite a collection of them herself, and sometimes, when she sits motionless on the couch in the evening, she even feels like she is one of them. To meet Anna means to experience a whirlwind of irony and cynical humor, from which no established social convention can hide - from the institution of marriage to flushing the toilet. You laugh through your tears, you don't understand and you hate her.
